The Golden

Every morning when I arrive at Sarah's house to drop off the kids, William heads straight for the back door to look for Daisy.

Who is Daisy you might ask? Daisy, is Sarah's good old Golden Retriever. She is so patient with the kids and lets them climb all over her. William just loves her. He is too cute going to find her and saying "Hey" to her.

Daisy also makes it easier to drop William off. He doesn't cry anymore. He was crying after Christmas when Daisy was not there and stopped the week she came back. Thank you Daisy, from me and Sarah.

She is so tolerate of me too, since she has to go outside ever time I come over. I am allergic to all dogs unfortunately. Sorry William. You will just have to enjoy good 'ol Daisy May.

15 months

William is 15 months old today.

He is so cute and fun to hang out with. He and Isabella are beginning to enjoy each others company. It is sooo nice when they play together.

He tries to imitate us doing things. Example: Tries to spit when he is brushing his gums, blows his nose, blows on his food. Too cute.

He has quite a strong personality and is mostly all smiles unless it has to do with food or being told the dreaded "no". He will literally throw himself on the floor when he is mad. I just have to walk away so I don't laugh in his face and hopefully learns mommy really does mean business.

He loves to swing outside. He has also discovered going down the slide head first which makes him giggle and giggle. He cries when I leave which is endearing to a point, other times it makes me sad (when I have to leave him to go to work) and other times it is just annoying.

He definitely prefers table foods but is very picky about what he eats (very few veggies). He would eat crackers and those little Gerber veggie sticks all day long if I would let him.

He will come to me and point towards whatever he is wanting and "say" something. His absolute favorite things to do is play with a ball. It doesn't matter what kind or size. If he can throw it, it's a good time. Maybe he will be a baseball player.

105.2

You may be thinking is there a new radio station in town that I don't know about?
Well, the answer would be no. At least I don't think so.
105.2 would be Isabella's temperature throughout the night last night. Kind of high and scary, huh? Diarrhea that got worse over night and today. We went to see Dr. Jattan yesterday then talked with her several times today. We discussed going to Eggleston but decided not to. Her temperature came down this afternoon to 102.5 and is up back to 105 again. She started antibiotics tonight so maybe that will help. You can pray for my poor Bella.

I am seriously working a Christmas post and will let you know when it is finished.

She also just threw up in our bed. Yuck!

Sliding Down the Stairs

Isabella continues to teach William new things every day. Sliding down the stairs is now one of his favorites!

8 years ago today I became Mrs. William Cardoza.

Matt and I were married in Statesboro, GA at First United Methodist Church by my grandfather, S. Carter Berkeley. It was a beautiful day and we had a great time.

I will never forget seeing Matt for the first time all dressed up. We were in the courtyard of the Statesboro Inn. Matt was sitting on a bench with his eyes covered. Our photographer took pictures of us as Matt took off his blindfold. He looks like a little kid with his shoulders scrunched up with excitement. I love that series of pictures.

We had know idea of what marriage would really be like, but I wouldn't trade Matt for anything. God has blessed my life by placing Matt in it. He has helped me to become a better person, forgiven me for the stupids things I do, and overlooks my "bad" habits. He continues to show me what it means to be a man of integrity and honesty. I praise God that our children have him as a father. For Isabella to know what it really means for a man to love you and for William to know what it means to be a "real" man. I love you, my love.

14 on the 14th

William is 14 months old today.

I have really enjoyed watching William move into toddler hood. He wants so much to be a "big boy". He tries to copy everything Isabella does. He loves to crawl up the stairs and slide down on his tummy. Man, he is fast too. He is also quite vocal and always lets us know when he wants something (usually to eat) or Isabella has done something to him.

He is really super cute and "all boy."

Still NO teeth.

Busy

We have been so busy lately that and I have neglected this blog.

We love the Christmas season. It is our most favorite time of year. I am just still having difficulty believing it is already here and almost 2010. Where has the time gone?!?

September- We took Isabella along with the May family to see Elmo and his green thumb. It was our first "show" and Isabella loved it.

October- We went to the mountains with the Mays and the Moons during the fall break. We stayed in Suches, Ga in the moutnains and had a great time. The kids and I also went home to Waynesboro to visit my family. Isabella loved riding Aunt Jennie and Uncle Patrick's golf cart around the field. We had a great time. We also went to the mountains with my family at the end of October. Nice and relaxing.

November- I took the kids along with the Mays to Imagine It!, the children's museum. It was very fun and a sensory overload. Then I took the kids back to Waynesboro to see my family before thanksgiving. We traveled to the mountains with Matt's family for Thanksgiving. The kids had a great time playing with each other and watching the deer in the woods.

December- We, the adults, went out on the town to see the Rocketts for the Christmas Spectacular. It was a lot of fun to be out without the kids. I hosted a Premier jewelry party last night with Stephanie as my jewelry lady. We had a great time.

That is just a small sampling of the extra things we have been doing recently.
