Christmas... We have always tried to really focus on Jesus' birth as the real reason we celebrate Christmas. We have done well with that until this year when the kids really got hooked on Santa. I still don't talk about Santa unless he is brought up by one of them. I certainly don't like to ask, "what is Santa going to bring you?" We give the kids the majority of their presents and "Santa" only brings a few small gifts.
The kids slept in our room on Christmas Eve so we would know when they got up on Christmas morning. I love the looks on their faces when they came around the corner.
Dressed for Sunday morning church to go and celebrate Jesus' birth with our church family. This is the smile we often get from William. Isn't is cute?
This year we decided to allow an Elf on a Shelf to visit us. His name is Chippie. The kids had a great finding him every morning.
We spent time with Matt's family before Christmas this year. We all spent the night and enjoyed our time together. The kids had a ball playing together.
Every Christmas we get together with our good friends the Mays to celebrate. We try to let the kids decorate something, usually dessert, eat dinner, open gifts and just hang out. The kids have a blast.
This year they decorated cupcakes.
It was Logan's first Christmas!
We had a little jumping/flying action going on too.

I wish I had Connor's first expression and response videoed! He was so excited about his glove!
There was a girl who met a guy. They fell in love and the rest is history.
Matt and I were married on December 15, 2001. It was a beautiful day! We enjoyed having our families and friends there with us as we celebrated our love for one another.
This is one of our photos from our wedding album. Thank you Mercer Harris for your work capturing our day.
This is our 10 year anniversary. We took a big trip back in October during my fall break to Cabo San Lucas. It was also wonderful to spend a week together with no responsibilities. Here's to the next great 10 years!
