Zoo

We took Isabella to the Atlanta Zoo for the first time on Saturday. We had been planning on going sometime this summer and next week is my father-in-laws birthday so we decided that the Cardoza family should all go to the zoo. That meant we had 3 kids with us, our niece and nephew (Ansley almost 4 and Andersen 2 1/2), and Isabella 2. They had a good time checking out all the animals. It felt pretty good the first part of our time there. We went out to the parking lot and had us a good 'ol fashioned picnic in the grass. When we went back into the zoo, it was hot. I was beginning to swell and hurt. Not fun! I was able to stick it out for a little while longer. I sat down every chance I had. At the end of our time there, we rode the train and carousel. Isabella enjoyed the train until we went through a couple of tunnels. She was definitely NOT a fan of the carousel. We even sat in a seat and did not even try to put her on an animal. Oh well. Maybe next time.
