Big Girl Bed

Isabella has slept in her big girl bed the past 2 nights. Hooray!!! Both nights Matt has laid down with her until she fell asleep and she has done well. We are very proud of her. I think she is pretty proud of herself too. I found her this morning in her room turning off her fan and gathering her things to come downstairs. How cute is that? We stayed in her bed this morning (Queen size- it will continue to be the guest room as needed) and read books for almost an hour. Quite fun! I decided to try her in her big bed for her nap today just to see how it would go. Ha ha. We read for awhile and then after she climbed around several times I took her to her crib. She may just have to stay in there for awhile during nap time. I don't think the nap transition will be as smooth.

Her room is very cute and VERY girlie! Pink and green, of course. Her baby room will be the new baby's room and is very neutral since we did not know what she or the next one will be. I am not going to post pictures yet because her curtains have not come in yet. When they do I will let you know. Otherwise her room is pretty much finished besides hanging up various decorations and the little finishing touches. I am still working on her bathroom since I took a break from painting. I hope to have it finished this weekend.
