Isabella and I joined my Mom, sister, Grandmother (Mimi), Aunt Beth, Aunt Sandy, and my cousin Whitney for a girls weekend in Blue Ridge from Wednesday to Saturday. I believe my sister came up with the idea since our Aunt Beth is moving from Statesboro to Montgomery in a few weeks. It was a great idea.
It was nice to get away for a few days and enjoy some family time. We don't get to spend a lot of time with my family since they are 2-3 hours away and time just seems to slip away. So, we all got there and the house was beautiful. I was quite hot upstairs though especially during the day and cooled off at night some with the help of fans. The basement was freezing but nice during the afternoon when the sun made the upstairs hot.
We didn't do much of anything during the day which was very nice. A few of us did go into town one day but it was sooo hot we didn't stay for very long. Isabella had a great time running around the house, reading her books and seeing who she could butter up for more sweets or chips. She also made friends with the bear in the cabin. She will proudly demonstrate her bear growl for you if you ask. It is very different from her lion roar which she is also very proud of.

I love the fact that Isabella is posing with her hair all fixed but no shirt on. Hopefully she will grow out of that in teenage years though!
