The Georgia Aquarium

We headed down to the Georgia Aquarium today. We have been wanting to go for awhile and were finally able to make time to go as a family. Matt has actually been before for work functions but the rest of us had not. We decided Spring Break would be a good time to go since Matt was off for a few days and it was still free for Isabella to get in. If you are 2 or under you don't have to pay for admission. She turns 3 at the end of the month so we only had to pay for Matt and myself.
I love the look of wonder on her face as she saw the very first tank of fish.

The Jellyfish

"WOW!"

That is what Isabella said at the first small window she saw with fish swimming by. I can only imagine how big the fish seem to her when they seem huge to me. She was so cute watching the fish swim by. She wanted to stop and look in every window so we had to discourage that at times since we would be looking at the same exact thing and blocking other kids' views. The fish were amazing. Big fish, little fish, pretty fish, and funny looking fish. I kept thinking how cool it is for all the fish to live together and not eat each other.

I love the way this picture turned out

I definitely recommend going in the morning. We arrived around 9:00 and did not have any problem getting in. We had already ordered our ticket so we didn't have to worry about that but when we left around 12:00 the lines were pretty long to get in.

Isabella seemed to really enjoy the time we spent at the aquarium. The only thing she didn't seem to really care for was the divers in the tanks that were cleaning the glass. She kind of whined when she saw them. Now every time we ask her about our trip she responds with "The man said Hi" referring to the diver because one of them waved at her. William seemed to enjoy his time in the stroller and behaved very well for us. It ended up being a very good trip.

The penguins were not in there normal place since they are building the new dolphin aquarium. So we waited in line for about 20 minutes before we left to go behind the scenes to see the penguins. They were very cute.

Deepo- Isabella was not so fond of him but we did manage to get a picture.
