Cabo San Lucas

Matt and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary this December. We knew we wanted to take a trip to celebrate and decided October break would be better than December since December is already crazy as it is. We chose Cabo San Lucas, Mexico because his uncle has a time share down there and had extra weeks. So, we were able to go for much cheaper than we would have otherwise. We spent an entire week away and it was fantastic! Thank you to our parents who kept the kiddos for us and Bob & Rita for the place.

Below are the pictures. I can't really tell you about them because blogger is doing something weird and not showing me while I type so I will give you a little recap.

We ate fabulous food, laid out in the sun (it was unusually hot!), took a sunset dinner cruise, visited Lover's Beach on the Sea of Cortez side and Divorce Beach on the Pacific side at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. Lover's Beach has fairly calm waters but Divorce Beach is extremely dangerous and you are not allowed to go in the water.

We also were able to watch sea turtles hatch, hold them, and release them into the ocean. I am not sure how any of them survive. The last picture if of the waves at the Hacienda we stayed at the last night. I took so many pictures of the waves. They were amazing and so loud! They actually kept waking me up overnight and I thought they were thunder. It was a great trip. Thank you honey for sharing it with me. I love you.
