I ate ladybug

I always love to hear funny little stories from my friends regarding their kids. They do the darndest things. So, I am going to pass one on to you.

Today we, Isabella, William, and I, went to the grocery store to pick up a few things that we need for tomorrow and the rest of the week. We made it throught the store without incident which can be difficult when Isabella is walking since William we in his seat in the cart. We headed out the store with the help of an employee. I got Isabella into her carseat and noticed there was a ladybug on her pantleg. I pointed it out to her and she picked it up. I tried to get her to let it go but she wanted to hold onto it. So, I buckled her in and went around to get William in. I clicked his carseat in and looked over at Isabella.

She had a funny look on her face. Then she proceeds to say, "I ate ladybug."
Me: "What?!?"
Isabella: "I ate ladybug "
Me: "You ate the ladybug?"
Isabella: Nodding her head yes
Me: Noticing the car kind of stinks from the smell of the ladybug
Isabella: Still with a funny look on her face and making a slight chewing motion with her mouth
Me: "You ate the LADYBUG?"
Isabella: "Yes"
Me: "Seriously?" Realizing that she did really eat the ladybug. Poor ladybug.

Ok. So she will eat a stinky ladybug but not regular food. I know I am picky but please. So, that is our entertaining story for the day.
