Dado

This past week was our winter break. Now that I work in the school system I so look forward to our breaks to be able to relax and get recharged for another 6-8 weeks of kids at school. I would be VERY sad if the school system went back to the "old" schedule. I think everyone needs breaks and I don't think I could work a regular schedule ever again.

The kids and I were very busy this past week. Instead of relaxing, we had doctor's appointments, William's 4 month check up along with a sick visit for Isabella, and a trip home to visit my family (specifically Dado). William's checkup went well. He weighed 14 pounds 11 ounces and was 25 inches long. He was right at 50th percentile for everything. Just perfect!

Isabella was put on antibiotics because (I hope this doesn't gross you out) she had so much snot that it was coming out of her eyes. After their apointment, we drove to Waynesboro and ended up staying the for 2 nights with my Dad. We also got to see Aunt Jennie and Uncle Patrick. It was a nice visit but Isabella was sad that she couldn't go outside an play on the playset. We drove down to Statesboro for the rest of our trip to see Dado, my grandfather. He had a double bypass on the 13th and came home the next Thursday. It was so good to see him. He is recovering well from surgery and looks really good. Thank you for your prayers. He had people praying for him all over the world, include someone at the Wailing Wall. I am hopefull he will feel like traveling here for William's baptism in March.
This was Dado 5 days after surgery!

We left Friday after my hair appointment to head home. We stopped in Waynesboro to see Papa one more time and use the restroom then headed on to Conyers. William ended up screaming from Covinging all the way home. No fun but we made it. So our break is now over and I am counting the weeks until our next, Spring break.
