Our Anniversary

Matt and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on December 15th. We had a great time. We went out to eat and to a movie. We were supposed to go to Michelangelo's but they weren't open on Mondays so we headed to Outback. We then met our good friends Krista and Michael at the movie theater to see "Four Christmases". I thought it was hilarious. I laughed out loud throughout the entire movie. We were a little worried about seeing the movie because we had heard several people say they didn't like it or not to waste your money but we enjoyed it very much. It was great to go out with Matt and have an uninterrupted adult conversation over a nice dinner.

Matt and I got married in Statesboro, GA at First United Methodist Church. We decided on the church for multiple reasons. My grandfather was the pastor there when I was little, it is absolutely beautiful, it has a center aisle, and you don't have to go outside to enter just in case the weather was bad.

It was the wedding of my dreams along with the man of my dreams. We were able to celebrate with family and friends. We had a bagpipe player which was very cool for our Christmas wedding. We also celebrated our first communion as a married couple together with entire congregation. I am so thankful to the Lord for giving me such a wonderful husband to spend my life with. I love you, Matt.
