As of this past Monday I am officially a "soccer mom". In preparation for the second child, Matt and I sold our Camry and purchased a Toyota Sienna. It has 8 seats and is silver. It was used and exactly what I had in mind. I love it. And apparently Isabella does too.
When Matt got home Monday night from picking it up, Isabella played in it and cried when she had to get out and go to bed. Maybe it would make a nice playground for her when it is raining? She has played in it several times since then and talks about the "new car". I think she likes all the buttons and different things she can push. The only thing that scares me is the automatic sliding door. I am so scared she will push the button to close it and get squashed in it. Agh!! How horrible would that be?
Caught playing in the carNow we have to clean out the garage since it is slightly bigger than the Camry was. I am not sure how Matt and Stephanie get around the front of it when it is too close to the front. I think I have figured out how far I have to pull in so the garage door can still close and people can get around the front. I won't complain about cleaning out the garage since that was on my summer project list and did not get accomplished.

That's so funny! You are now officially part of middle class suburbia!! I remember when Rachel was about Isabella's age - we used the van for a playground during many a "bad weather" ballgame! It worked well with so much climbing around room! You will enjoy it!! My van is my all time favorite vehicle!
