Great Friends!

Ok. So I have the greatest friends and co-worker friends. Last Thursday, I was given a shower by my co-workers at school. They were so funny planning it. We had to switch the day because it was originally on for Tuesday then we realized all the teachers had staff meetings on Tuesday. Opps! We don't have to go to those thank goodness. Anyway, we had a great time and Steph brought Isabella after her nap. We (me and the baby) got some great things. Katie made homemade cupcakes with little flowers on them that were too cute. She is taking a cake decorating class and I think her husband threatened to not let her go back to the lessons if she did not make the cake. Stacey (the one who does NOT cook) even made punch that was great. At a previous baby shower she mixed sprite (or something of the sort) with Neapolitan ice cream instead of sherbet because that is how she thought you made it. She said it tasted good but I think it probably looked like poop.

Video Monitor- one of the best gifts ever!

Here comes the surprise. On Saturday, Bailey called to ask if Isabella could come home with her and Gina since I took Landon last Sunday. I jumped all over that since I feel like time is running out and needed to get a few things done. So, Isabella went home with them, or so I thought. I ran a few errands and then Stephanie picked me up around 2:00 to do some shopping, or so I thought. She was very sneaky- asking if I would go to the mall with her to pick out some things for her new house. Well, after picking me up she said she left something at home. So, we headed to her house which is 2 minutes from mine. I saw a bunch of cars lined up on the road and thought -

"her neighbors must be having a party or something".

Then she beeped her horn and I thought

"I wonder who she is beeping at and that was very nice of her to beep at the neighbors".

Then I saw a bunch of people standing on her front porch and began to recognize the cars.

I said "What are ya'll doing?" like an idiot.

THEN it hit me! Oh this is for ME? I was eating a bag of popcorn and my hands were all buttery. I kept saying my hands are dirty. I was so glad I didn't change into shorts and a t-shirt! The theme was to Pamper me and the baby. We got some great things. I will be able to pamper myself before AND after the baby comes.

I don't have any pictures from the suprise shower since I did not have my camera. Sarah took some for me so when I get them I will add them to the post.

Thank you all so much. I am truly blessed to have such great friends!!
