We ended up hiding out in the very small coat closet last night for about 30 minutes during the tornado warning. We already had the kids sleeping in our room so when we heard the warning we quickly gathered the kids and headed into the very small space for 2 adults and 2 kids.
William was very pleased with being up and thought everything was a game, talking and asking questions. Isabella was not so pleased and wanted to know what was going on.
I explained that we were hiding in the closet because the tornado was coming. After that, Isabella responded by saying, "the tomatoes are coming?" I thought it was too cute and couldn't correct her. So we hid from the tornadoes last night and were very thankful the tornado didn't travel towards us.
William asked if the tornado looked like bees. I told him it did. I pray you are yours are safe.
They played tornado today and kept hiding in the closet.

Leslie!! That's so dang cute. I make it a point to never correct my little ones when they say something sweet like that. Including my favorite, (after hearing the doorbell) - "Mom, the Jehobah's are here".
:D
xoxo~!!
