Yesterday Isabella woke up like normal and we proceed to get ready for church. We were sitting at the table eating breakfast when we thought she kept saying, "I farted in my bed." Matt and I both were thinking, "where did she get that?" Agh! I don't typically care for double standards but I really don't want my little 3 year old girl walking around saying she farted. It may be ok for William when he is that age but we will see.
Anyway, I asked her if she pooted in her bed and she said "yes." Then I proceed to tell her that she is not allowed to say "that".
Later in the morning, I was ironing William's shirt on the bed and Isabella crawled up there and while she was standing up. threw up on our bed. YUCK!!!
We then realized a short time later that she had been saying she "threw up in her bed." I felt so bad. She had in fact thrown up in her bed and I was telling her she couldn't say that. Farted was threw up. Go figure.
She stayed home with Matt and William so I could go to church and actually hear a full sermon since last October. When I got home, she had a band aid on her tummy and reported that she felt much better. So, if you happen to get a short virus, stick a band aid on your tummy. Isabella says it helps.
