Two Already?

Our William

Where has the time gone little one? It has created great memories, more love than we could ever image, and a fantastic family of fun.

I thank God for giving you to us. You are a precious little boy who is full of life and loves to show it.

Some of my favorite things about you:

  • Your passion for the things you "love"
  • Your shy smile when you are embarrassed
  • The way you run doggie's ear through your fingers when you are holding him
  • The smile on your face when you are jumping off something, riding something, or pushing something
  • Your stubborn streak. It truly makes me laugh when you think you will get something if you pitch a fit
  • That your eyes change color depending on what you wear
  • The fantastic shape of your lips
  • The way you love on Isabella when she is upset
  • The way you think you are just as big as her
  • And the way you think you can do ANYTHING she does and you usually do

You still only have 11 teeth. Sometimes I wonder if you will ever get anymore.

You are talking up a storm. Adding new words everyday and short phrases. "Watch Mommy!"

You are 36 inches tall. Only 4 shorter than Isabella

You are wearing a size 6.5 shoe.

Happy 2nd Birthday. We love you!

Aquarium

One of our family outings over our break included the aquarium. Matt took off on Thursday so we headed into Atlanta. The first and last time was before Isabella turned 3 since she was still free. The kids loved it. Here are some pictures.

Isabella and Matt looking for the whale shark

Oooh! Jelly Fish
I always love the looks on her face when she is intently looking/watching something.

In front of the tropical fish tank, WITH the man in the tank!!!
The last time we went, Isabella was freaked out by the men in the tank.
She talked about it for months.
Thank goodness she was OK this time.
We even sat there and listened to the little information session.
William did think it was a little loud.

That is a BIG little fish.

I have never seen an octopus before.
He was really cool.

The sea turtle

A couple of group shots
William insisted on holding onto the stroller while taking the pictures

He also insists on pushing the stroller any chance he gets.
Check out that look of determination!!!
And just for kicks.
This is the building Matt proposed to me in.
I have always loved it since it looks like a Christmas tree.

Fall Break

We have had a wonderful fall break. The kids and I spent Sunday through Wednesday in Waynesboro with my family. We could not have asked for better weather. It was gorgeous! My parents are settled into their rental house and it is perfect for the kids. They loved being outside and running around playing. I loved not having to worry about them. And we all loved the weather.
It was so nice to just hang out. Jennie was able to hang out with us a good bit too. No need for a cabin. Just beautiful.

Warning: there are a ton of pictures that follow. I will update later about the rest of our break.

William swang for the first hour we were there.

We were watching Dancing with the Stars.
Isabella told Papa that she wanted to
dance like them. Too cute to watch

Riding. William would scream when it was time to get off.

Our last night there we made s'mores over the fire pit.
They were so yummy.

Cuteness times 2

Just a few of pictures of the kids to make your day.

Isabella swinging

Both of these were taken before church one morning when I realized how much they coordinated and we actually had time and not running late. I was playing around with the settings so the top one is really bright but cute.
